WHAT WE DO

These are the most common ways that we move teeth to help our patients love their smile.

Braces

What most of us think of when we hear the word orthodontics. Silver braces with silver or colored ties that apply pressure from a wire to gently move teeth. At each appointment, usually about six weeks apart, progress is evaluated, and the ties or wire are adjusted to continue the process.

Clear Braces

A clear version of traditional braces. Clear ties and sometimes even a white coated wire are used to gently move teeth. At each appointment, usually about six weeks apart, progress is evaluated, and the ties or wire are adjusted to continue the process.

Clear Aligners

A series of nearly invisible clear retainers, or “aligners,” are used to gently apply pressure to move teeth. Not a single retainer that magically moves the teeth, but rather a series of them. Each aligner is worn for a week or two. At each appointment, usually about six to eight weeks apart, progress is evaluated and refined, and you receive the next several aligners in the series to continue the process.
